Projector Project

Our mission to be a church family that introduces broken people to Jesus is our number one priority.  When technology starts to prevent us from reaching broken people with the transforming message of Christ, then it becomes a priority. We have received $4,336.55 toward a new projector. The replacement costs $5,800, including installation and updating cabling etc. We are short $1,463.45.  The projector is hindering our worship, and our ability to use powerful media illustrations. Do what you can.

Center of Hope

Sweet Frog Yogurt is one of the newest businesses in Uniontown, located in the Shop n’ Save Plaza on Walnut Hill Road.

Sweet Frog Yogurt will donate 10% of sales to the Center of Hope from customers that mention the Center of Hope on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Sweet Frog Yogurt serves excellent frozen yogurt and prides itself on giving back to the community.  In Sweet Frog, the acronym F.R.O.G. stands for “Fully Rely On God.”

All-Staff Gathering

Our pastors like to meet with all those who serve in any capacity through Calvary Baptist Church.  This is an opportunity for us to develop and employ our vision and celebrate what God is doing through us at CBC.  Please join us Sunday Evening, October 6th at 5:30 PM.

Sponsor a Child!

If you would like to be involved in the life of a Haitan orphan, you may sponsor a child.  Just ten dollars a month will help meet the needs of a child at the EBAC orphanage.  The orphanage is under the direction of our missionaries, Kathy Gouker and Alice Wise.  See Tammy Helmick or call the church office for the details.

Starting Point

Starting Point is designed for those interested in joining the CBC family.  You will have the opportunity to meet ministry leaders and ask questions about our ministries.  You will hear from our Pastors about our vision and beliefs, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a part of the CBC family.  If you are interested, please let one of the Pastors know or call the church office.

The Great Gift Exchange

The leaves have not yet turned red, orange and yellow, but already we are thinking of our Children’s Christmas Musical.  Our children are excited and will soon begin practicing with director, Mrs. Pam Everly.

If you would like to be involved  with the production, please sign up in the info center.  There are many areas assistance is needed - staging, choreography, music or just fitting in where needed.  Thank you for your help and prayer.

Calendar Party

Our Annual Calendar Party to benefit the Haitian Orphans of EBAC will be Saturday, November 9th. There is a sign-up sheet in the info-center to host a table.  Please see Nancy Ziemkowsky for all of the details.

Parents ~

We are requesting that you complete an Annual Parent/Guardian Permission Slip.   The information that you provide will help us to better minister to your children.  All children returning a signed Permission Slip during September will receive a candy prize from Pastor Joe!
