Saul from Acts 8 & 9 thought he had it all together. He had his 5 year plan, and he was executing it with passion and determination until he met Jesus. When Jesus spoke to him his world fell apart and his eyes were opened to his true brokeness. We are either blind, or broken. When we think we have it together it is only because we have been blinded to the truth. When Jesus speaks, it shines light into our souls revealing our brokeness and our need for Jesus.
